Thanks for sharing the link - but unfortunately it seems to be down? Does anybody here at edmondsonartist.blogspot.com have a mirror or another source?
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day...:) Your paintings are lovely. I especially love the colors and depths of your still life ones. I tried oils long ago but the cleaners made me ill; although I do paint with acrylic from time to time, they just don't have the same "oomph" as oils. Really nice stuff you have here! :)
Trained in the classical style, "Edmondson brings Old Master painting into the modern using contemporary themes and expressive brushwork. Edmondson's masterful handling of paint is a combination of light and shadow with nuances of broken color. In painting portrait and figure, still life, and landscape; there is a keen sense of richness of color, balance and movement in his work. His dramatic use of light captivates your eye as you wander through the painting."
Daniel lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with his family. Daniel has studied at the Palette and Chisel in Chicago, the Loveland Academy of Fine Art , University of Colorado at Boulder, the Fechin Institute in Taos, New Mexico, the Scottsdale Artists School in Scottsdale, Arizona, The Arts Students League in Denver, Colorado.
Daniel currently teaches studio classes in Classical Painting. This internationally collected artist has won numerous awards in exhibitions and museum shows. Look for his paintings at one of the fine galleries that represent his work.
